Ayesha Al Memari

A double Canadian board-certified physician, Dr. Almemari has over a decade of experience in providing emergency medicine, critical care medicine and humanitarian medicine services. As the Program Director of the Al Mafraq Hospital Emergency Medicine Residency Program, she enabled it to achieve accreditation by the ACGME and served this role until October 2020. A member of the Emergency Medicine Council of the Arab Board, she served on the examination committee and developed the oral examination assessment sheet that is still in use today. Additionally, Dr. Almemari was elected Secretary of the Arab Board EM Council Executive Committee and worked with the chair to develop a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine and toxicology. She is also chair of the Emergency Medicine Council at the Emirati Board. A distinguished researcher, she has authored ten publications about EM, quality improvement in EM and burnout.
